You cannot leave Rouffach, which is located along the « Wine route » of Alsace, without testing local wine. Alsace is famous for its white wines (Riesling, Sylvaner, Muscat, Pinot, Tokay, Gewürztraminer, Crémant…). You will have the opportunity to learn about the secrets of typical wines after the poster session on Thursday 25, September. The winegrower and owner of the “Domaine du Bollenberg” will propose you to discover several varieties of its wines accompanied by local food (Kouglhopf, bretzels).
The Gala Diner will take place in the Isenbourg Castle, on Friday 26th September, in the evening.
The castle built in the 12th and 14th centuries overlooks the old town of Rouffach, offering a splendid view over the Vosges foothills, the Rhine plain and the Black Forest.
Here, you will enjoy a delicious three-course meal and French wines. The meal will be preceded by a welcome reception and will be accompanied by entertainment.
This event is also an opportunity to further converse with your colleagues in a pleasant atmosphere.
