FORENAP offers a wide range of validated neurocognitive tests, including visual analog scales, questionnaires, computerised tests and “pen and paper” tests, to be used in various neurocognitive domains such as attention, learning, memory, intellectual capacities and psychomotor skills.
These tests are an easy way to measure cognition in clinical trials.
These tests are used in phase I in order to determine the impact of new drugs on cognition at the earliest phase of their clinical development. They are also used as a research tool to study the cognitive impairments associated with neuropsychiatric disorders (e.g., schizophrenia, Alzheimer) and at the later stage of drug development, to assess the ability of a drug to relieve these impairments in patients.
